I began working with Hammonds Glamping when they were formed in 2021. I work in partnership with the owner on a monthly retainer to manage, develop and create all marketing materials. I also support with business admin, offering advice and help with staffing, booking systems and budget forecasting and tracking.
Website design & build
I designed and built this website, including writing all the copy and planning and creating all the content.
I also sourced an external booking system and integrated it into the website to make a seamless customer experience.
The website is fully optimised for mobile which is so important as 92% of the website traffic is from mobiles.
Guest welcome pack
After immersing myself fully in the Hammonds Glamping business I created a 'Welcome Pack' for guests that contained all the information they need prior to and during their stay.
I have set up automated emails within our booking system so this attachment is sent out after every booking, so guests feel equipped with the information they need ahead of their stay.
I look after the advertising and marketing for Hammonds Glamping which involves understanding the specific target audience and where they will be spending their time.
We are currently using a mix of local press advertising and targeted Facebook advertising campaigns to reach potential customers to increase awareness, traffic to the website and in turn bookings.
As a new company I have been able to set up some simple ways of keeping on top of information, sharing it amongst team members and tracking costs and bookings.
